A peach mango smoothie recipe that’s great for post workouts or a quick breakfast smoothie. I don’t know about you, but I personally love juicy peaches and mangoes. I actually even think they are kind of sensual because of how juicy they are from when you bite into them… and then the sweet taste and smell of these fruits just linger. They’re just some sexy fruits, but they make sexy blended smoothies as well.
There is also a banana and some orange juice in this smoothie. Banana’s are well-known for potassium and oranges for vitamin C. Peaches have vitamins A and C which are antioxidants. Antioxidants are great for helping reduce cancer cells and reversing signs of aging. Peaches are known to be good for skin health, diabetic care, heart health, and eye care (that vitamin A) (Medical News Today, 2014). Mangoes have vitamins A & C, folate, potassium, and vitamin B-6. They are great for skin health, heart health, and digestion.
Adding in some spinach in this recipe just gives this smoothie a serving of vegetables, but without having to eat the leafy greens or deal with the taste. The sweet mango, banana, pineapple, orange juice and peach mask the flavor of the spinach. This recipe would be great with kale too! The vanilla protein powder makes this even more of a sweet treat. With a full days serving of fruit, one serving of vegetables, and a serving of protein, again, this is a great morning breakfast smoothie or post workout blend.
