This orange banana sweet potato juice recipe was inspired from my original sweet potato juice recipe I created two years ago. The recipe and video got so much attention and became popular so quick, I thought about more ways to juice sweet potato.
Many people thought a banana and sweet potato couldn’t be juiced, but they certainly can be. The bananas do not work well in a fast (centrifugal force) juicer, instead, use a slow masticating juicer like the Hurom or Juicepresso and it comes out as a perfect puree. The masticating juicers are best because they extract the juice but also leave the most nutrients and fiber. Juicing is a great way to get in extra servings of fruits and vegetables, as well as detoxify the body, and deliver more nutrients to all organs.
Orange Banana Sweet Potato Juice Recipe
Oranges are well known sources of vitamin C and bananas are well known for potassium, but sweet potatoes have both vitamin C and potassium as well. Carrots have vitamin A and beta carotene which are popularly known for being great for improving eyesight, but did you know carrots have antioxidants in them too? They are not only great for vision but they are also heart healthy.
I love the combination of orange and banana, orange and carrot, and carrot and sweet potato so I thought to combine all three and WOW, it made one amazing juice recipe. This is probably my new favorite juice. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I meant to put this juice recipe out in the fall, but oh well, here I am in February posting it. The color of this juice is bright orange and so vibrant. It makes me think of sunshine and happiness, that’s why I also like to call this juice “Happy Juice”.
