Kale Green Smoothie Recipe

This is one of my favorite kale green smoothie recipes yet. The combination of the sweet and bitter flavors of the almond, banana, spinach, and kale blend perfectly together. Spinach and kale are super greens packed with nutrients, the banana is perfect in any smoothie but great for potassium, fiber, and manganese. Almonds are beneficial for protein and aid in weight loss. If you don’t like kale, but know how healthy it is, this is the perfect smoothie to cover that flavor.

Green Smoothie Recipe | Kale Smoothie Recipe

Prep Time: 2 minutes

Cook Time: 3 minutes

Total Time: 5 minutes

Yield: 2 servings


  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Kale Stalk
  • 1 Cup Spinach
  • 1 1/2 Cups Almond Milk
  • 1-2 TBS Almond Butter


  1. Peel the banana and put it in the blender
  2. Put 1-2 TBS almond butter, 1 kale stalk, the spinach and 1 1/2 cups of almond milk in the in the blender
  3. Blend until smooth and enjoy.

    My mom used to make me green smoothies and they were good. However, none were sweet like this one! My 5 year old boy loved this smoothie!!! I think we’re about to join the healthy smoothie revolution! 🙂 Thanks!!!!

    Really good!!! I am eating an 80% raw/ alkaline diet, and this tastes delicious!! I also add wheat grass to mine 🙂
