“You spin my head right round right round like a blender baby right round right round”

Obviously the best thing to do is NOT to drink to much to be hungover in the first place, but if you had more than you intended, this will help.

The Hangover Juice and the Hangover Smoothie are healthy ways to pick you up and fill you up with nutrients after drinking alcohol. Even if you aren’t recovering from drinking alcohol this smoothie is still beneficial for energy, digestion, and uplifting your mood.

  1. Heather,
I just made this smoothie for its, um, intended purpose, lol. It was very good & made my tummy feel better right away. Very filling too. Like a meal in a glass. Thanks for creating this. :)

    • Hehee Your Very Welcome. It is like a meal in a glass, glad you enjoyed it. Thank you so much for commenting!

  2. This sounds amazing unfortunately I’m too hungover to buy the ingredients right now lol, I will def have them staple for next time though. Thanks for the recipe!

    • Haha, that is too funny! Helpful Tip: Next time before you go have a night of drinking… buy the ingredients ahead of time :)

  3. This one rocks! Didn’t have a hangover today, but this one is a great breakfast smoothie. I also threw some vanilla protein powder in for good measure. Great website!

  4. I love how you match the songs to the videos!! and I laughed so hard at the “…let’s be honest here, dandelion just tastes a lot like dirt.”

  5. Wow just made this and it’s so so amazing! Smooth an creamy and leaves a really nice feeling in your tummy:) thanku!

  6. Great recipe… I substituted the honey with black strap molasses which has a high source potassium and iron, I started feeling better within 15 min.. thanks for sharing your recipe.

  7. Omg this worked had a severe case & thought I would throw this up…I used a little stevia because I didnt have honey-thanks a million!

    • That’s awesome! So happy to hear this was a success for you. I personally don’t like stevia, but it is the healthiest for a sweetener and lowest on the glycemic index.

  8. Hi just tried to make the smoothie, what kind of oats did you use, we tried porridge oats but it came out slightly dry. Do you have any advice on what oats to use?
    Thanks a lot!

    • Hi Oli! I just used gluten free quick oats. You can use quick Quaker oats though if you are not gluten sensitive :)

  9. I decided to cheat last night and have some wine and now I’m regretting it, I made this and thought I did it right but now I’m confused. I see it says oats but after reading the directions I don’t see where to add them or how much (qty)? I’m used unsweetened almond milk, and all the rest of the ingredients as listed.

    • Thank you for pointing that out! Geesh, maybe I was hungover when I wrote up that recipe (okay that or lack of sleep). :-) I fixed it now though!
