Hangover Smoothie Recipe

“You spin my head right round right round like a blender baby right round right round”

Obviously the best thing to do is NOT to drink to much to be hungover in the first place, but if you had more than you intended, this will help.

The Hangover Juice and the Hangover Smoothie recipe are healthy ways to pick you up and fill you up with nutrients after drinking alcohol. Even if you aren’t recovering from drinking alcohol this smoothie is still beneficial for energy, digestion, and uplifting your mood.

Hangover Smoothie Recipe

Prep Time: 2 minutes

Cook Time: 3 minutes

Total Time: 5 minutes

Oats, Banana, Honey, Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk, Maca, and Flax.

Oats, banana, maca and flax provide a source of energy. Oats, honey, banana, and almond milk are soothing to the esophagus and stomach. Oats, banana, maca and flax help elevate your mood. Flax is also beneficial for digestion.

Thank you for pointing that out! Geesh, maybe I was hungover when I wrote up that recipe (okay that or lack of sleep). 🙂 I fixed it now though!

I decided to cheat last night and have some wine and now I’m regretting it, I made this and thought I did it right but now I’m confused. I see it says oats but after reading the directions I don’t see where to add them or how much (qty)? I’m used unsweetened almond milk, and all the rest of the ingredients as listed.

Hi Oli! I just used gluten free quick oats. You can use quick Quaker oats though if you are not gluten sensitive 🙂

Hi just tried to make the smoothie, what kind of oats did you use, we tried porridge oats but it came out slightly dry. Do you have any advice on what oats to use?
    Thanks a lot!

That’s awesome! So happy to hear this was a success for you. I personally don’t like stevia, but it is the healthiest for a sweetener and lowest on the glycemic index.

Omg this worked had a severe case & thought I would throw this up…I used a little stevia because I didnt have honey-thanks a million!

Great recipe… I substituted the honey with black strap molasses which has a high source potassium and iron, I started feeling better within 15 min.. thanks for sharing your recipe.

I love how you match the songs to the videos!! and I laughed so hard at the “…let’s be honest here, dandelion just tastes a lot like dirt.”

This one rocks! Didn’t have a hangover today, but this one is a great breakfast smoothie. I also threw some vanilla protein powder in for good measure. Great website!
