I love gingerbread men, but I can’t eat them if they have a face; it’s just wrong. Those cute little cookies are delicious but I’ll take a gingersnap so I can spare the little cookie. If you like cookies and milk or cookies and ice cream, then you will enjoy this special holiday gingerbread smoothie recipe. While it’s great to maintain the healthiest lifestyle possible, sometimes a sweet little treat is nice to have. Moderation is key, and if you can make a healthy version of something then go for it. I have chosen to make this gingerbread smoothie with almond milk and a vegan friendly low fat ice cream. You can make this smoothie anyway you want, just don’t add any more sugar too it.
- 10 gingersnaps
- 12 ounces milk (almond, soy, or regular)
- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream (regular, vegan, or any dairy free kind)
- Measure out all ingredients and add to the blender
- Blend until smooth and enjoy!
