I’ve received many inquiries on why I juice before I blend. You can just juice, just blend, or juice and blend. Watch while I demonstrate the difference between blending vs juicing.
So as you can see it’s a matter of consistency and flavor in juicing vs blending. Also that you may lose some nutrients and fiber when juicing. When it comes to juicing hard vegetables in blending vs juicing, it’s much easier to juice them.
I love my Blendtec and Vitamix blender, but when making a whole food smoothie, a liquid is necessary. I would suggest Almond Milk, Coconut Milk, or Coconut Water. Try orange juice as well!
